Natural Advantage Mask Recipes

Why should you consider Natural Advantage Mask Recipes?

Our skin takes a beating every day. It is exposed to fluctuating temperatures, dry environments, wet environments, sun rays, dirt, cuts, bruises and everything else that our environment throws at it.

We then expect it to be perfect the moment we are required to look our best.

There is no material on earth that can do what our skin does. But still, many of us are not satisfied.

  • we bleach our skin with chemicals to make it lighter
  • we inject toxins beneath our skin to make it plumper to get rid of fine lines
  • we add silicones to make it smooth and shiny
  • we add ingredients that promise to give us a natural glow (according to many cosmetic company's, we don't have a natural one)
  • we bake it in the sun by exposing it to too much harmful rays

We often forget what our skin does for us and how resilient it stays … even though we layer it with rubbish and toxins.

Even with normal daily cleaning, your skin will accumulate dirt deep in the pores. Masks are designed to stay on the face for 5 to 30 minutes or until they are dry. During this process, the ingredients open the pores and draw out impurities and toxins from deep within.

This cleansing process restores the natural moisture balance by allowing the pores to “breath”. This “breathing” process includes the natural absorption and release of moisture that is now unhindered by dirt build-up in the pores.

Depending on your skin type, some mask ingredients will draw more for oily skins and less for dry skins. Choose your mask accordingly. Natural advantage masks are a great way for a deep skin clean without having to use synthetic ingredients.

Many of these ingredients have been around for centuries, testimony to the fact that if they were toxic and did not work (like many of the cosmetic ingredients today), then they would not be around.

Often, many of them are right in our kitchen. By being the maker of these natural advantage mask recipes, you know and control exactly what goes in to these natural masks.

No ingredients or secrets that you don't know about. These are the ingredients for your natural advantage.

This selected list of natural advantage mask recipes includes many common kitchen ingredients such as honey and oatmeal - no need to buy specialised ingredients.

All these natural masks are soft and gentle for your skin and also include even softer versions for those with really sensitive skins.

Taking Care of Your New Product

The natural advantage mask recipes that you follow always use fresh ingredients and to keep them fresh, there are no synthetic preservatives in any of the recipes. Some recipes contain water and others don't.

For the ones that do contain water, please note that once water is added, the product becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. Typically, a product will last for around 4 weeks - less in warm temperatures and longer in cool temperatures.

To maximise storage of your products, keep them in the fridge.

These are the basic signs to look out for when the product is starting to spoil :

  • changes colour
  • develops fungal growth
  • smells differently from when you made it
  • changes texture (for example, smooth to lumpy)

Treat your natural products like food. Doing so will go a long way to keeping you safe from bacteria and maximising shelf life without having to use preservatives.

Here are some simple natural advantage mask recipes that are easy to make, easy to use and provide effective performance without having to add synthetically made chemical ingredients.
